High Tech for High Satisfaction

At Arizona Associates in Dentistry, we aim to make the patient experience as positive as possible. In our world full of constantly cycling trends, it’s no surprise the dental industry would move forward with advanced technologies and methods of improving oral health – but unlike shoulder pads and leisure suits, a healthy, beautiful smile never goes out of style. That’s why Dr. Taylor and Dr. Mclaws are passionate about continuing education and investing in ways to make visits to the dentist more comfortable, less time consuming, and with better results.

Digital X-Rays

Digital x-rays produce clear, precise images within seconds while decreasing your exposure to radiation.  Dr. Taylor and Dr. Mclaws can review the images and show you what they see, all from the comfort of the dental chair.

Intraoral Camera

Intraoral cameras are used to comfortably take pictures of your teeth that can be magnified up to 25 times. This magnification aids in the detection of gum disease, cavities, and oral cancer in its early stages. It also helps us identify areas where you might need more oral hygiene guidance.

Laser Dentistry

Using advanced laser technology in the office has revolutionized patient care. Laser technology means setting aside the need for scalpels and sutures to make way for less invasive procedures. We see improved results, faster healing, and higher comfort levels with laser dentistry.

Laser Cavity Detection

In our office, we use a DIAGNOdent® laser cavity detection device that minimizes our chances of missing decay in its beginning stages. This low-level laser can illuminate areas of decay that might otherwise go undetected.

Our ViziLite oral cancer screening system helps us identify, evaluate, and monitor potential abnormalities to ensure the cells are not precancerous. It’s a quick and painless way to make sure your mouth is as healthy as can be.

Painless Injections

We don’t know anyone that is a fan of shots or needles, and we understand. That’s why we’re happy to carry and use Cetacaine®, a topical anesthetic that is fast acting and penetrates deeply to ensure painless soft-tissue procedures.
